Frequently Asked
Questions
Q:
What
are Flexible Payment Options?
Our student finance department will work
with you to determine a reasonable payment
plan for your individual needs.
Q:
"What is the difference between PMI
® and PMP ® ?"
The Project Management Institute
is known as the PMI organization. Their
professional certification is called PMP
which stands for Project Management Professional.
You would receive PMP certification from
PMI.
Q:
"How does this course compare to
the other PMI PMP reviews?"
Similar material as other PMP review programs,
based on the same Professional Project
Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).
Attending this course satisfies your 35
hour formal training requirement for certification.
We use an Accelerated Learning format.
Each of our students is physically and
actively involved all day long. The terms
and concepts are the same. Our unique
schedule also allows busy professionals
to attend a weekend class to maximize
your learning during four days of class
without significantly interrupting your
work week.
Q:
"How is the 4500 to 7500+ hours experience
calculated ?"
The time is to be non-overlapping and
based on time spent on the project itself,
not the overall project duration. A rough
calculation is you need about two and
one-half years with a university degree
or about five years with a high school
diploma. Your projects can include business
projects, weddings, political campaigns,
home building, vehicle design, software
development, etc. The objective is something
that was involving people with time constraints
and limitation on resources & expenditures.
Q:
"Should I register for the Exam before
attending class ?"
YES! The PMI Project Management Institute
requires applicants to complete at least
35 contact hours of project management
training prior to sitting for the certification
exam. You are not required by PMI to have
completed training before making your
application for the exam. You can satisfy
this requirement with our PMP Prep class.
